My Secret Garden
‘My Secret Garden’,Noa Noa’s spring collection 2012, brings inspiration from three distinct gardens.

The Japanese Garden
The collection’s first theme takes the exquisite traditional Japanese garden as its starting point. Here you find harmony in an aesthetic environment of peace and simplicity. Beautiful printed silk, quilted vests and jackets with embroidery and applique detail. The fabrics are in neutral tones broken by traditional Japanese kimono colours such as bright red, acid green and a deep dark blue.

The Wildflower Garden
The new romantic English garden characterises the balance between the controlled and the wild and between the traditional and the ground-breaking.
An abundance of floral prints, both big and small, scattered with traditional Paisley patterns, Indian flowers and stripes. Important must-haves include the butter-soft suede range with floral punching and the delicate crocheted lace waistcoat. Apple green, raspberry and warm yellow feature alongside more diluted colours, such as, off-white and beige.

The Dessert Garden
The final theme is the raw golden dessert, an ethnic touch from far-off lands. Here we see graphic ethnic prints dominate in beautifully worked styles and soft, thin viscose with printed edging and applied embroidery.
The palette moves from shades of white to warm earthy hues such as red-brown, sand and terracotta and khaki.
